Yaqub Hussain

Yaqub Hussain is a highly esteemed solicitor specialising in terrorism, large scale conspiracies, murder, gang crime, complex fraud and international business transactions. He is co-founder and partner of the law firm Lawton and Partners (www.lawtonandpartners.com). Yaqub burst onto the criminal law scene when he as a trainee solicitor was instrumental in the exoneration of Donald Stewart-Whyte in the Liquid Terror plot trial in 2009. Since then his career has developed at incredible speed.

10 years prior to liquid bomb trial Yaqub served a prison sentence and it was at this point he decided to become a solicitor to fight for justice and truth.

Yaqub’s upbringing was beyond tough and he lived part of his teenage years on the streets. Being an underdog left him with a purpose to fight for the little man and a fearless approach to life. He is a rare rainmaker and a true man of the people.

Mikkel Juel Iversen

Mikkel has worked in international film distribution with Universal Studios for several years. During this time he has been involved in the release of a wide variety films from Universal, Dreamworks, Working Title, Imagine Entertainment and Focus Features including box office hits Mamma Mia, Inglorious Basterds and The Bourne Ultimatum to mention a few.

Mikkel has an MSc in Finance and Accounting from London School of Economics and spent his early career in the financial markets. Before joining Universal Studios, Mikkel studied film making at Los Angeles Film School. He also founded and runs the London branch of an international screenwriters’ network.

Mikkel’s upbringing was rich on creative freedom but far removed from the film industry as he grew up in a remote part of the Danish countryside.
